COR (Certificate of Recognition) Information

COR is an essential component of WCB’s Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) program. COR is fast becoming an expectation in the residential construction industry. Implementation and maintenance of your quality health & safety programs will better enable you to reduce workplace injuries, keep your employees safe, and manage your personal and business liabilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations and code. As a matter of due diligence it is your responsibility as an owner/employer, to do everything reasonably practicable to ensure the safety of yourselves, your employees and your property.

An IHS representative can work with you from beginning to end, helping you to build a COR program, or evaluate your current safety program and if required, will add and implement any changes needed for your safety program and/or manual to meet all OH&S standards.
